silver eagle fits perfectly! I wanted to put one coin in a capsule so I can show it to friends and family. The rest of the eagles I have stay in a protective tube/

These air-tites fit my 1/4 ounce gold eagles and are well made. Some cheaper plastic capsules may not be so clear, and other brands may not have a solid snug fit because their connecting edges are not machined down. I like to put some of my coins in these air-tites and store those coins in a "treasure bag". With some cheaper coin holders, the coins will fall out of the holders or the capsules will fall apart when the coins are moved about. My coins are protected against scratches because they are in these air-tites.
