This is a great option for low premium gold bars. If you want a certain brand , style (cast vs minted) or shape, this is probably not your option. I’ve collected enough of the periodic table’s 79th entry to no longer care much what brand or style it happens to be. These are good value - i bought two and one is a minted bar from Valcambi while other is an APMEX loaf. I’m happy!
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Cons
- Generic Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

While surfing the APMEX website (a daily ritual for me), for items that I can't resist buying, I came across this 100 gram gold bar at a very low premium vs any other gold that APMEX was selling that day. I had to have it! It was APMEX's choice as to what they could send me, but they did their best to fill my order to the letter. The only thing missing was the assay card, and that wasn't in the order anyway. A nice, loaf type, bar at a great price! I will consider buying more of them, as the opportunity arises.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Recognized Brand
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
