Currency Highlights:
Protect your Small Size Currency by adding a protective currency holder to your order.
Federal Reserve Notes are a great part of history that can easily be added to any collection. Add this great collectors item to your cart today!
Numeral notes are in high demand since only the series 1928 $100's (& $50's) had this feature. When the 1928-A $100 notes were introduced, the corresponding letter such as J for 10 replaced the numeral in the middle of the Federal Reserve seal to the left of the portrait. This note is a strong Very Fine example.
An interesting aspect of the Federal Reserve Notes from 1928 is that their redemption wording states, "Redeemable in Gold on Demand at the United States Treasury, or in Gold or Lawful Money at any Federal Reserve Bank." No Federal Reserve Note since 1928 has carried this redemption.
Nice $100 Federal Reserve Notes of Series 1928. These are the last FRN's to carry "Redeemable in Gold" in the obligation.
Currency Highlights:
- Each note comes in an archival quality currency sleeve.
- Circulated notes from series 1928 in nice Very Fine condition.
- Woods/Mellon signatures. Friedberg #2150-G.
- Face: A portrait of founding father Benjamin Franklin.
- Back: An engraving of Independence Hall.
