The Perth Mint
Australia's The Perth Mint is the continent's oldest operating facility. It was originally founded as part of The Royal Mint system during British colonial rule. The Perth Mint was then handed over to the government of Western Australia and is not affiliated with the federal government's Royal Australian Mint.
Lunar Year of the Dragon
The Lunar New Year is celebrated on February 10, 2024. The dragon symbolizes power, nobleness, honor, luck and success. Each zodiac sign is associated with one of five elements: Gold, Wood, Water, Fire or Earth. The 2024 Dragon is the Wood Dragon which will bring evolution, improvement and abundance.
This meticulously struck .9999 fine gold bar is the first lunar minted bar with a dragon design. It has a worldwide mintage of only 30,000 pieces.
Bar Highlights:

- Individual bars are presented in a tamper-evident packaging with serial number. The packaging will display the word "VOID" around the edge of the blister if the card has been opened. The card is red colored with plum blossoms.
